| If you havenât been to Rappahannock for their oysters, you got to check them out! I have been serveral times with my sisters and we throughly enjoyed it. The mussels, oysters and ceviches are our favorite. âRappahannock Oyster Bar (Charleston) is nestled in a jaw-dropping 19th-century cigar factory along Charlestonâs Cooper River on East Bay Street. Charleston is our biggest restaurant to-date (over 4,000 square feet), with outside dining options and a 40-seat copper bar (one of Charlestonâs largest). Though the ambience is spectacular, the food is the star attraction. Light, bright, and brazen â youâll see classics like our lambs ân clams, crab cakes, oyster poâ boy, ceviches, and even chefâs take on a Southern classic: shrimp & grits (which weâll put up against anyoneâs).
